Working with AI agents, together
A shared workspace where teams and AI agents work together in the same session.
Overview
Syllable puts a team and its AI agents in the same session. Sometimes the result is a deck or a doc, sometimes a drafted email, sometimes a task the agent goes off and finishes. Several people, several models, one thread. I designed it end to end, from the first sketches through an internal beta.
Everything on this page is the prototype itself, running live. Each piece plays one moment on its own; click anywhere in it to take over.
Everyone in one session
In Syllable, teammates join the same session and work alongside the agents.
Motion that tells you what an agent is doing
Most chat tools show the same three dots whether an agent needs a second or ten minutes. In Syllable, each state has its own motion, so you can tell at a glance what an agent is doing with your request.
Context you can see
The session hangs on one split: what the team brought in, and what the agents made. A context card keeps both in view beside the thread. Any file opens in a panel beside the chat, as tabs, and expands to take the whole window when you want to look properly.
Icons with a little life
Each one plays once on hover: a letter drops into Inbox, Sessions types, Artifacts' tiles pop.
Inbox
Your notifications: agents' questions and people's mentions from every session. Answer without leaving.
Artifacts
Everything agents made, from every session, each a link away from where it came from. Called Artifacts, not Files, because Files would promise your uploads too.
