Overview
Amazon Autos was working through its long-term planning, and I spent four weeks with two other designers — Shruthi Padala and Tara Pairoj-Boriboon — making a proof-of-concept film of what car shopping on Amazon could look like three years out.
Vision work like this is routine at Amazon. You build the thing before it exists, show it to leadership, and use it to argue for the headcount, funding, and roadmap space to actually go make it real.
