Overview

ART19 is Amazon Music's enterprise podcast publishing and advertising platform, used by publishers like Wondery, NPR, and The New York Times. I led the end-to-end redesign of how campaigns are created and managed — rebuilding the underlying workflows and refreshing the visual surface.

The goal was to let large publishers plan, categorize, and manage campaigns at scale across many series and feeds — through a clearer taxonomy and tagging model, and bulk workflows built for high-volume operations.

Advanced targeting — age, gender, and device audience controls.
Tag your campaign — campaign tagging for organization and reporting.
Frequency capping and pacing — delivery limits and pacing controls.
Budget and dates — campaign budget, type, and flight dates.

Bulk management at scale

For publishers running dozens of campaigns at once, single-record editing was the bottleneck. I introduced bulk workflows — select, categorize, and update many campaigns in one pass — so high-volume operations stopped being a per-campaign chore.

A visual refresh

Alongside the structural rework, the platform got a visual refresh — a cleaner, more legible surface for dense operational data.

Reducing campaign creation time by nearly 50%

Rethinking how campaigns are created and managed sped up the core workflow for large publishers and pulled a whole category of questions off the internal support queue.
